Celebrating Sanctuary tribute to Avelino Bambi who died in November was held on 15th December. As a Writers Without Borders member I was honoured to be asked to read one of his poems. The musical and spoken word event was held at the ORT café on Moseley Road. Great arts café with a fantastic vibe, scrumptious vegetarian food and yummy cakes. The place was packed and I’m sure Avelino felt the energy.
