Black History Month with WWB at the Library of Birmingham

Six poets and two drummers disturbed the usual quiet of the Library of Birmingham in Saturday 28th October. Under the heading ‘Independence and Sankofa’ they delivered spoken word and song to the heartbeat of the drums. Our sponsors, Writing West Midlands, were so impressed we’ve been asked to do it all over again at Balsall Heath Library on Thursday 2nd November at 4.30 p.m. Catch us there if you missed us on Saturday, or see us again if you enjoyed us on Saturday.
