Dear Supporters, Friends and Community Members,
Thank you SO much to everyone who’s been part of this exciting process and got behind us in our struggle to make sure that The GAP – an amazing resource for young people from all over Birmingham – stays open right into the autumn – warm, comfortable, with running water and a kitchen. We only have a few hours left until our Indiegogo campaign closes, so this is our last call if you’re yet to add your donation. We have reached an amazing £6000 of our £10,000 target so far, and with a few hours yet to go are set to make nearer £7000! MAKE YOUR LAST MINUTE DONATION HERE! We couldn’t have done it without the support of amazing people like YOU, understanding the importance of providing the opportunity for young people to meet, mingle and create together, safely, securely, and in a supporting and friendly community. Because of people like you, 16-25 year olds in this city will at last have their own, independently run, arts space for collaboration and creativity – the first and only one of its kind in the UK’s second city. JUST A LITTLE FURTHER TO GO! DONATE HERE! We have almost secured enough to install the environmentally friendly and efficient infrared panels that we need to ensure that The GAP remains a workable environment beyond the summer months. With a little more help and support over the coming hours, we KNOW that by midnight we can reach the £7000 that we need to do that! So if its slipped your mind to complete your donation – don’t worry, it happens! – or if you still have people you can share the campaign with – now is your last chance to take that step, taking us over the line and helping us get warm for the winter! KEEP THE GAP OPEN THROUGH WINTER – DONATE HERE! And don’t forget there are some beautiful and exclusive handmade rewards to be claimed when you donate – our gift of creativity shared with you by some of our most talented and skilled members. And if those don’t inspire you, please read our keynote speech to the Facing the Gap International Conference in Budapest on 29-31 July 2016, which underlines the significance of what we’re doing here at The GAP, and the significant strides we’re making towards building community between young people, both here and internationally. Thanks for your support! Ceri, Arron, Maria and Ella
