2012 has been an amazing year for me in terms of my writing, being chosen by the National Lottery to be one of the twelve poets for the 2012 London Olympics.The highlight of this was being invited to the Olympic Park to view the poem we produced which was showcased in the Park during the Olympics and ParaOlympics.This was viewed by the thousands of people who visited the park.
The year was an extremely busy one for me. I was featured on BBC Midlands today, Jamaica TV, local radio, the Jamaica Gleaner, the Voice and Phoenix newspapers.
I was requested to do several performances across the country including Jamaica in the Square, the Symphony Hall, the Drum and school assemblies.
I also produced and released a CD of my work called ‘La-Fire’ which is perfect for Valentines Day as it features a selection of love poetry.
